Aria Cosplay

This is a costume that I made last year for the Fanime convention, and I wore it this year too. I sewed almost all of it. I bought the boots and added pieces of fabric to them, and I also bought the wig. I used fabric paint and iron-ons to make the designs.
My sister cut the wig for me so that it would match the character's hair. She has funny sideburn sections of hair that are long, but the rest of her hair is really short.
The blue glove was made for me by commission at Fanime this year, and I painted on the gold afterward.
I feel like the pink wig looks kinda weird on me because my eyebrows are brown. What do you think?

This character comes from a manga and anime callled Aria. It is about gondoliers on a planet called Neo-Venetia which is actually Mars, transformed into a mostly water planet. All the gondoliers are beautiful young women who wear long dresses like this one. The story line is about the main character, Akari, the one I dressed up as, training to be a full fledged gondolier. It's kind of slow and there are a lot of sappy lines, but it's cute.
